Singing Lessons & Beginner Piano Lessons in Bendigo
After 8 years of running fun, confidence-building music lessons in Melbourne, I'm so excited to be bringing Songbirds Studio to Bendigo! Classes will be launching shortly in the Huntly area, and pre-enrolments are now open for local families who’d love to be part of this creative, child-centred music program.
At Songbirds, we offer both private singing lessons and small-group singing as well as beginner group piano/keyboard classes designed to nurture not just musical skills, but also confidence, creativity, and connection. Lessons are warm, playful, and designed for kids who might not thrive in more traditional or competitive learning environments, children who need a space where they can truly be themselves.
All classes in Bendigo will be taught personally by Amy, Songbirds founder, experienced educator, vocalist, and mum of four, now living locally in Huntly.
If you’re interested in classes for your child you're welcome to register for pre-enrolment. Places are limited and families who pre-enrol will be prioritised as classes are confirmed.
About Amy
Amy is the founder and head teacher of Songbirds Studio Bendigo. With a background in both music and psychology, she has over a decade of experience helping children grow in confidence, creativity, and musical skill. Amy has trained across vocal styles including pop, jazz, musical theatre, and metal, and brings a warm, supportive approach to every lesson. A passionate educator and mum of four, she now lives in Huntly and will be personally teaching all Bendigo classes.
What To Expect in Classes
At Songbirds Studio Bendigo we offer:

🎤 Group singing classes (Ages 4 to 17)
🎹 Beginner Group piano classes (Ages 4 to 17)
🧠 A strong focus on creativity, collaboration, and emotional wellbeing
💜 Small groups (6 per class) so every child is seen and supported
🌱 Welcoming children from age 4
Songbirds Studio Bendigo offers small-group singing lessons and some limited beginner group piano lessons that are fun, engaging, and thoughtfully designed for children. Our programs combine musical learning with creative play, social connection, and a strong focus on building confidence and self-expression.
While the core programs are designed for primary school-aged children, I also offer options for older kids/teens, including our popular teen singing groups. Limited places are also available for 4-year-olds who are ready for group learning.
Classes are held in warm, supportive groups 6-8 students, with activities and materials carefully chosen to suit the developmental needs of each age group. Whether your child is a quiet observer or bursting with energy, they’ll be welcomed just as they are.
Private singing lessons are also be available on request, particularly for older students, students will specific goals or those looking for a more flexible learning approach.
