SINGING: Songbirds Introductory (Ages 6 - 9)

🎵 Vocal Play & Warm-Ups
We start each class with playful vocal warm-ups, silly sounds, and pitch games to get voices moving and ready to sing. These activities also help children explore their voices confidently and develop healthy vocal habits.

🎤 Singing Skills
Children learn foundational singing skills like pitch matching, breath support, rhythm, diction, and expressive singing. Everything is taught in a fun, age-appropriate way that makes learning feel like play.

🧠 Musical Thinking
We gently introduce music concepts such as rhythm, melody, dynamics, and musical patterns. This lays the groundwork for future music learning and builds strong listening skills and confidence.

🎶 Songs & Repertoire
Each term, students learn a small collection of carefully chosen songs with meaningful lyrics and fun melodies. We focus on songs that support skill development while helping kids feel proud of their progress.

💡 Confidence & Creativity
Our classes are designed to build confidence, spark creativity, and support each child’s unique voice. Students are always encouraged to explore and express themselves in a safe, inclusive space.

🌱 What Makes Our Classes Special
Parents often share that they’ve noticed their child becoming more confident, expressive, and excited about music since starting classes. While we focus on singing, what we’re really nurturing is each child’s sense of self, their curiosity, and their love of learning — all through fun, playful music-making.
